Our Fireplace Fans are designed to work in a gas burning Direct Vent and some Ventless Fireplaces What is a Direct Vent Fireplace? They are not for use with wood burning fireplaces and stoves.

The fireplace must have clear air gap going up the back of the firebox of at least 15 inches wide to allow this fan to properly develop full air flow.
